Rakesh has 25 years of IT experience predominantly in Business Intelligence (Insights and Data) practice. Executed many critical deliveries involving traditional ETL tools like DataStage, Informatica, and Ab Initio, BI Reporting tools like IBM Cognos, BO, MicroStrategy, and Tableau.Rakesh has been working on several data migrations and environment (tools and technologies) uplift engagements for several banks and regulatory firms.To address emerging trends and advancements in data visualization, Rakesh took on the role of Practice Head of Data Visualization for the Financial Services Business Unit. In this capacity, he oversees the use of data visualization and reporting tools to support clients globally in their modernization efforts. He manage a team of around 600 Data Visualization Developers, BI Architects, and Business Analysts.Rakesh has been instrumental in setting up Center of Excellence for IBM Cognos sub-practice within Capgemini for Financial Service business where he was responsible for conducting several training programs for cross-skill or upskills, mentoring new joiners, arranging weekdays/weekend recruitment drives, off-campus recruitment drives, helping pre-sales teams and resolving technical issues for several project teams within Capgemini.
