   I am responsible for P&L of Commercial Air conditioning Business of Voltas (approx. Rs 1500 Cr – USD 180 Mn). My Business Unit (BU) comprises all functions including R&D, Engineering, Sales, Supply chain, Manufacturing, Channel Management, Finance, HR, etc. This BU is unique combination of B2B and B2C business. Major Verticals of this business are as follows; o Standard products and Engineered product businesso Retrofit /Project Businesso AMC and O&M business My achievements, so far, are as follows;1) Topline of the BU has almost doubled in 3 years, with product sales growing in excess of 45% CAGR (against market CAGR of 10-12%). 2) Bottom line has growth by almost 2.5 times in last 3 years3) Very significant improvement in Health of Balance sheet resulting in ROCE in excess of 75%. 4) Brought in policies for Channel growth. Also aligned Sales Incentives resulting in increasing the number of active dealers / partners by more than 50% in last 3 years. 5) Worked with factory to more than double their output / Productivity compared to 3 years ago, without any significant CAPEX.6) Worked with R&D and engineering to make products more efficient & cheaper thereby significantly gaining market share in most of the products.7) Worked through Procurement with vendors / service providers to do value engineering and reduce costs without impacting the specifications8) Worked on various overhead costs to significantly reduce the OH per unit of revenue. 9) Worked with Finance to introduce various financing and insurance mechanism to support channel partners for credit requirements, without increasing risks to the organization10) Worked with HR to change the performance evaluation mechanism resulting in more fair assessment and lowering of biases.11) Successful in developing an IOT solution for HVAC application for Retail stores. 12) Brought in Safety Culture within the BU.
