   Oversee day-to-day operations of the casting yard: plan and supervise production of precast elements (beams, slabs, Box segments, barriers, etc.) to meet project schedules.Prepare and implement daily/weekly production schedules, allocate manpower and equipment, and monitor progress against targets.Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures: supervise concrete mix trials, curing, dimensional checks, reinforcement placement, surface finish and acceptance testing.Coordinate with design, QA/QC, and site teams to resolve technical issues, approve shop drawings, and ensure precast components match on-site requirements.Manage material logistics and inventory (cement, steel, formwork, inserts, curing compounds): maintain stock records and ensure just-in-time supplies to avoid production delays.Enforce HSE standards at the yard: conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident reporting; ensure PPE use and safe lifting/transport practices.Supervise, train and evaluate casting-yard staff and subcontractors — assign shifts, maintain attendance, and drive continuous skill-upgradation for formwork, shuttering and finishing teams.Control cost and productivity: monitor labor and material consumption, identify waste, suggest process improvements, and implement yield-enhancing measures.Coordinate transport and handling: plan loading, dispatch, and protection of precast elements for safe transfer to site; liaise with transport contractors to meet delivery windows.Maintain accurate records and reports: daily production logs, quality test records, NCRs, dispatch notes, and weekly progress reports for project management.Support commissioning and erection teams during placement — provide technical assistance and ensure correct lifting points and match-marking.
