I am Rakesh Kumar, a dynamic and result driven Engineer with almost 19 + years of experience in steering Construction Projects and Site Engineering. I am presently associated with Praj Industries Ltd. as Chief. Project Manager. I have extensive experience in project planning and execution along with exposures in quality assurance, administrative control, Strategic Management, Site Administration, Materials Management and commercial operations. As an astute strategist, I have proven abilities in managing multiple projects and achieving operational improvement by designing and implementing operational processes, control systems, risk management and management of manpower resources and spearheading the Cost, Contracts and Commercial areas of the Projects. I am deft in handling contract negotiations & management, projects estimations as well as document preparation and handling all the operations pertaining to purchase and materials handling and have proven abilities in end to end management of the project cycle including planning, scheduling, budgeting, etc. I have an outstanding record of steering time bound projects by implementing strategic action plans, establishing framework of quality standards and driving operational improvement through effective project monitoring and implementation. As the project leader, I possess extraordinary ability to improve processes, identify strengths/weaknesses, implement company’s standards, changes in operations, and systems to achieve the project goals within specific timelines and optimum resource and capacity utilization.
