Create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures toimprove business performance. Ensure that engineering strategies and creative and innovative engineering processes are in place tomeet business objectives and operational needs in terms of quality and delivery targets. Providing technical support to the business development, estimating and onsite engineering teams. Develop planning and priorities processes to ensure that multi-disciplinary resource is well aligned tomaximize delivery of projects. Establish quality and reliability standard to meet requirements of customers. Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports andmanage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and costreductions Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of informationand in order to implement change and improvements. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies. Responsible for developing the appropriate organizational structure, resource plans and culture tosupport the business objectives and customer deliverables. Financial Budget and Control: Prepare the annual Engineering budget and forecasts. Leverage appropriate external contract resource as required to support projects.
