Raj is Senior Manager in Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory (offices of the US). Raj is a leader in Model Risk Management (MRM) space with extensive experience in management and execution of large validation engagements, including development and implementation of governance policies, procedures, documentation uplift and quality assurance. With over 11+ years of experience in model risk assessments at global and large US banks and regional institutions, his primary focus includes validation for climate risk, credit risk, treasury / liquidity risk, PPNR, and judgment-based qualitative models for regulatory and internal stress testing. More recently, Raj is extensively engaged in driving research, drafting and organizing foundational material on AI Risk Management to stimulate client discussions and sales to assist FSI clients navigate early days of AIML risk management through translating leading industry practices and available regulatory guidance into actionable AIML risk management framework. Prior to joining Deloitte, Raj graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2011 with major in Corporate Finance and Asset Management and minor in Fixed Income Securities. He holds B.E.(Mechanical Engineering) from Pune University (August 2017) and an active CFA Charter-holder (issued December 2016) Raj is a CFA® Charter-holder, offered by CFA Institute, USA.
