I’ve always been captivated by the world of cybersecurity—the thrill of solving puzzles and the satisfaction of keeping systems safe from threats drives my passion every day. Currently, I’m diving deep into my role as a Junior Security Operations Engineer at Copart India Technology Center, where I get to put my skills to the test on a daily basis. I’ve had the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools like Umbrella and Crowdstrike while monitoring and resolving security incidents around the clock. My journey began during my academic years at the National Forensic Sciences University, where I earned my Master’s in Digital Forensics and Information Security. It was there that I completed an internship focused on incident response processes which solidified my interest in this field. The hands-on experience during my time as an Information Security Engineer intern allowed me to learn about various IR tools while supporting real-time investigations. One of my proudest moments was when I helped streamline our incident response protocol at Copart by identifying patterns in incidents that led to a 30% faster resolution time. This experience taught me how crucial proactive measures are in preventing larger issues down the line. I thrive on challenges—whether it’s working shifts 24/7 or collaborating with teams to tackle complex problems. Outside of work, I\'m always looking for ways to enhance my knowledge, whether participating in local cybersecurity meetups or exploring online courses related to incident response.
