I am passionate about solving complex engineering challenges and applying those to improve patient lives and move the needle towards better healthcare. I am the co-founder and scientific lead at Cognita Labs, my research spans behavior, drug delivery, and diagnostic areas in pulmonology care. With our 2 FDA cleared devices, CapMedic and PulmoScan, I have collaborated with pulmonologists, pediatricians on asthma and COPD research, published pilot studies demonstrating dramatically improved inhaler use in patients, simplified lung assessment not possible before, and home monitoring for continued care. I have worked with clinicians to implement reimbursable services for providing better care while improving revenues. Currently, I am the PI on NIH grants and open to clinical collaborations.
