Certificate of Deposit(CD Servicing) is a new microservices feature added to enable and provide online services to customers of Wells Fargo by providing an options to enable their CD’s accessing online via native app, desktop and mobile browser• Before to this feature implementation if customer wants to renewal their existing CD they have to visit to bank to make sure their CD is renewed and before visiting to the bank they have to take an appointment by calling to Wells Fargo customer support• Now by adding this feature customer can access it via desktop, mobile browser or via native app to get their CD renewals done then and there with an ease with just few clicks after login• Enabling this feature will be benefits to the users as they no need to visit to bank to get their CD renewals done with few clicks and save lots of their timeFunctionality • We are populating an ACT NOW Banner on Account Summary page, only for the eligible CD account holders to proceed and get their CD renewals done based on Current/Special/Standard rates• If customer is not happy with the interest gained with current CD accounts and if they want to close their CD’s we are providing an option to even close their CD’s and transfer their existing CD amount to one of their Checking/Savings accounts
