Designed and implemented a scalable templating microservice using Nunjucks. It enables dynamic creation, editing, previewing, and versioning of email and PDF templates tailored to client-specific use cases. Implemented dynamic HTML-to-PDF generation leveraging Puppeteer, a Node.js library that controls headless Chrome/Chromium, enabling accurate rendering of complex layouts using pdf-metadata. Built the backend architecture using Fastify, optimizing for high performance and low overhead; integrated with a PostgreSQL database for structured template storage and versioning. Designed and normalized the complete database schema, and integrated it with the central RDash platform.
