ABOUT RAJIV RAMCHANDRA
Rajiv Ramchandra is the Director of Sustainability/Regional Sustainability Lead at WaterSMART Solutions Ltd, a services organization committed to improving water management through better technologies and practices. He brings his broad industry experience to the WaterSMART team, which includes over 15 years of international and multistakeholder experience. He focuses on developing and executing sustainability strategies and solutions and has worked extensively to improve the environmental sustainability footprint of various industries. He is also the founder of Recreate India Research Foundation (Re:CREATe), an international award-winning, and India’s first and only research and advocacy think tank that aims to catalyze and advance the remanufacturing industry in the nation. Rajiv holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (2006) from the University of Sussex, a Master’s in Engineering Management (2009) from the Kate Gleason College of Engineering and an MBA (2014) from the Saunders College of Business, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He is also a graduate of the Business Sustainability Management (2017) program from the University of Cambridge and holds two professional credentials – the Sustainability Excellence Professional (SEP) credential developed by the International Society of Sustainability Professionals and administered by Green Business Certification Inc, and the AWS Credentialed Specialist credential developed by the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS).
