About Rajiv Barik
Feels like have spent a life time in building software but still feel that there are many things to learn and explore. Best part of building software other then being pervasive in every aspect of life is it lets you also learn the domain as you build the software for the domain. And I have learnt quite a lot of Banking, industrial automation and Healthcare - imaging. If software is the body (leaving hardware as its in cloud) then domain is its soul. Passion for knowing everything in this world, drove me to complete 57 courses on Coursera and Edx on various subjects ranging from technology, psychology, sociology, business management, startups, strategy etc. Sometimes gaining knowledge could become an addiction. Off late have been involved in amalgamating all the knowledge to solve some problems for the world especially on using data analytics/big data Hadoop and applying machine learning in financial markets and building some cool UI using React.
