Brief summary of role and achievements.• Build procurement team from scratche.g Identifying the team structure inline with business requirement and seek management approvalDeveloping the job description for the approved roles Recruitment & Induction• Allignment to BC Corporate Policy: To ensure all Functional strategies, policies and operations are aligned with BC Corporate policy, local legal/statutory requirements and that they support the delivery of all operations.• Liason with global/regional procurement Leads: Weekly procurement reporting including updating the dashboard • Strategic Procurement for different category portfolio: e.g IT/telecom, Travel, Hotel services, Facilities, Human resources, Advertisement, Marketing & MediaConsists of Leverage, Bottleneck & Stretegic purchase categories delivers the best value for money• Lead high value EU Tenders (largest being INR 300 Cr.) in compliance with the BC procurement policy. Manage vendors according to the contracted deliverables, acting as a point of escalation and ensuring the suppliers’ operational, commercial, contractual and governance obligations are met• Implement Procurement Benefit tracking for high value purchases for BCEESIPL in close coordination with department heads & UK team.Identify the major spend areas and coordination with stakeholders for initiating tendersCumulating the pan India requirements for BC group (BCD, BCEE & BCMS Noida, India where ever possible) to drive volume benefits and extending benefits throughout the groupSavings: GBP 943 K for FY 2020-21
