About Rajiv Bhandary
Currently scaling Insurance at Navi, I’ve spearheaded multiple strategic initiatives, including the development and launch of Nisha, a GenAI chatbot designed to assist users in understanding health insurance products better. I also led Project Jarvis, focusing on an inbound advisory model and optimizing advisor hiring and training processes. Additionally, I’ve successfully completed 100% of IRDAI obligations, ensuring compliance with Rural, Social, and Motor insurance requirements.In my previous role, I worked as a Program Manager in the Founder’s Office at Nova Benefits, where I was responsible for driving business operations and strategy for Nova’s retail lines of business. Prior to that, I played a key role in scaling WhatsApp-led insurance advisory at Ditto Insurance.These roles have given me ample experience as an Operator in a start-up environment. I led an affinity project for one of the biggest DTH providers, where I helped them insure all their partners and distributors across India.As a fellow in the second cohort at Xartup representing Fibonaco, I had the opportunity to interact and learn personally from founders of various successful startups such as Pratilipi, Zostel, and VCs from firms like Antler and Sequoia. I successfully set up and streamlined an entire cleaning utility segment for Perks Links and Services, one of the largest facilities management service providers in India.I have experience working at a failed seafood venture and a failed tiffin delivery service, which has made me more resilient. I held leadership roles at community service organizations such as Rotaract, where I oversaw the successful completion of about 100 projects.Additionally, I was instrumental in helping small businesses recover delayed payments and have processed applications for dues worth over 5 Crores, including two liquidations, two RERA complaints, and a Ponzi scheme.
