ABOUT RAJIT GOYAL
I\'m a second-year undergraduate at IIT Bombay, studying Material Science and Engineering, though my real obsession lies at the intersection of mathematics, physics, finance, and machine learning. What draws me to markets is that they never hand you a clean answer. You have to read the data, understand the forces at play, and form your own view, and I find that process genuinely exciting. I\'ve spent a lot of time studying the broader picture: the Indian economy, RBI\'s evolving role, and the macroeconomic forces shaping markets today. On the equities side, I\'ve done deep sector research, including on steel and EPC, digging into fundamentals, valuations, and what actually drives a business. Lately, I\'ve been channelling that curiosity into writing, covering topics like US debt dynamics, Bitcoin, global macro, and wherever rigorous math meets financial theory. On the quant/ML side, I\'m drawn to problems where the underlying mathematics is non-trivial: stochastic processes, statistical modelling, and how these tools translate into real market settings. Early in the journey, but building deliberately at the intersection of research, writing, and quantitative finance.
