Building a next-generation cloud-native eCommerce platform on Azure to support all Inspire brands - Arbys, Jimmy Jones, Sonic, Buffalo Wild wings & Dunkin Donuts. This event-driven system would be able to support customer orders in stores across the country through web and mobile channels. The front end is built using React Native with contentful as CMS. The backend services are built using Spring boot cloud technologies with datastores a mixture of SQL (SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB) databases. The services communicate synchronously using Rest and asynchronously using Azure Service Bus. GitLab flow is being used as an overall DevOps system with Argo CD managing the Helm Chart for Kubernetes.
