Rajib Adhikary is the Founder and CEO of Kaalo, an experience design and technology solutions company headquartered in Austin, Texas, with global operations across the United States and India.Founded in 1993 as a college dorm-room idea, Kaalo has grown under Rajib’s leadership into a trusted partner for Fortune 500 and enterprise clients, delivering end-to-end design, engineering, and advanced technology solutions across industries. Over three decades, he has guided the company through multiple waves of transformation—continuously challenging the status quo, embracing change, and pushing boundaries where design, technology, and human experience intersect.Rajib’s leadership is deeply shaped by his early life. Educated at a boarding school in the Himalayan mountains from the age of six, he learned independence, resilience, and discipline at an early age—lessons forged through solitude, nature, and self-reflection. These formative years instilled a lifelong comfort with uncertainty and an ability to navigate complexity with calm conviction.His journey—marked by both setbacks and breakthroughs—eventually led him to earn a Master’s degree from Harvard University, where his perspective on leadership, systems thinking, and impact further evolved.As a leader, Rajib is known for his long-term vision, willingness to invest in ideas before they are obvious, and belief that technology must deliver real, measurable value.    Kaalo is a full service innovation, design and technology company head quartered in Austin, Texas. Kaalo serves organizations with design expertise, innovative strategies, and technology solutions. Kaalo has a global team of industrial designers, software designers, mechanical engineers, strategists, software developers, and media content creators. They have served some of the finest in the industry including Dell, HP, Ferno Washington, and Forbes Technosys developing everything from smart self-service kiosks and game changing EMS (Emergency Medical Services) solutions, to Augmented Reality tech support and AI based Digital Transformational tools. Kaalo was founded in 1993 and over the past 30 years they have served clients representing a spectrum of industries. Industry examples include enterprise level computers and servers, medical equipment, self service machines, sports equipment, luggage, automobile, housewares, appliances, and many others. Kaalo is building a state-of-the-art, 5 acre work/play/live technology and design sandbox in Austin which is scheduled to open spring of 2024. Other Kaalo offices are located in Chennai, Ahmedabad and Mumbai in India. Kaalo funds technology projects that have realistic impact on businesses. Some of Kaalo’s popular tech solutions include the Dell AR Assistant (award winning tech support tool), Charm (world’s first AR messaging tool), Opus (Books come alive), Karma (Next Gen product User Manuals), EMPWR (Tech aid for the visually impaired) and Studio (Design and technology sandbox). In 2025 Kaalo is launching a line of products designed and developed by them including wearables such as AR glasses.Kaalo is a SOC2 certified company with enterprise level security protocols.
