ABOUT RAJ IYER

Raj Iyer is a senior business executive with over 29 years of experience across several technology firms across the globe. Raj has significant global management experience, having delivered business value to clients in over 25 countries across mature and emerging markets.Raj spent many years in the Silicon Valley working at various startups, one of which enabled him to participate in one of the largest software IPOs of the time (webMethods in Feb Subsequently, Raj joined IBM - where he spent close to a decade working across dozens of emerging markets in \"intrapreneur\" roles incubating new growth businesses, turning around under-performing businesses, creating and mentoring new teams, and building organizational capabilities in emerging markets.Over the years Raj has honed his skills in key areas of General Management including P&L management, operations management, organization development, routes-to-market & eco-system creation, and funding acquisition.Raj has proven experience building, selling and delivering industry relevant solutions in various contexts:* big & small firms,* solution incubation, sales & delivery,* mature & emerging markets,* various industries - BFSI, telco, manufacturing, T&T, retail and industrial sectors, and * various technologies - SOA, BPM, middleware, big data & analytics, cloud, mobility, IOT and cognitive computing.Raj holds a Computer Science (Hons) degree from a Top 10 technology school, and successfully completed a research fellowship from at a premier research institute (neural networks, speech recognition).Raj currently runs the global product management function at HCL Software.Raj lives and works in the Chicago area and is a US Citizen.
