System Support Specialist @Hermes Medical Solutions

Hermes Medical Solutions offers software solutions for diagnosis within Molecular Imaging. The solution is Server based and existing clients on the hospitals are used to connect Remote Applications through Remote Desktop Services or Citrix. As a System Support Specialist my responsibility lies in Pre-Installation, Stage and Configuration of all new Hermes systems delivered in Europe and APAC on VMWare and Microsoft Azure Cloud Platforms. Responsible for blueprint installation and manuals of Windows and Unix based servers. Setting up Microsoft Deployment Services to automate the setup for global distribution is my current goal. The full Enterprise solution which serves an entire region of hospitals and consists of: Load-balanced GPU powered Application servers running on Wintel and Unix Based Server Operating Systems. Configuring Linux servers in a failover setup hosting PostgreSQL and storage. Configuration of Additional Direct-attached storage (DAS) to the Linux servers. Integration with existing PACS or RIS. Integration with customer AD and credential delegation for Single Sign On. In collaboration with with Project Manager leading the Systems Development and Delivery Projects and contribute for the Project Life Cycle. Managing customer annual Preventive Maintenance visits. Providing professional customer focused service through the projects and lifecycle of 3rd line support cases. Actively supporting System Development team with field experience, best practice, and knowledge sharing. Assisting sales team in quote preparations, demonstrations, and Request for Quotes (RFQ).
