After sailing through Electronics and Communication branch of Engineering from one of the most reputed Engineering colleges of Karnataka - BMS College of Engineering, I kickstarted my career on Airbag Control Unit technology of Automotive Industry, firstly with TCS as the SW tester for a span of 3 years, as System Requirements Engineering at Continental Automotive Components India Pvt. Ltd- a leading Automotive supplier for 5 years.Through these years, I got to associate with stakeholders from several disciplines of R&D viz. Architects, SW Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Fellow Requirement Engineering representatives, Project core team members etc, and developed good knowledge on the overall system.I received appreciations from stakeholders for training and support; accolades for the project and audit (PGC, PCC, ASPICE) participations, and nominations as key performer (SoM) during this journey, which led to my growth as an effective professional.I also led team of 6 people for more than 6 months in my System Engineering role.My current role revolves around eliciting and analysing stakeholder requests, deriving system requirements, reviewing them with the affected discipline representatives, moderating meetings to ensure effective understanding of topics among stakeholders, managing requirement artifacts throughout the product development process, managing Change Requests etc.Having had 8 years of experience on the Airbag Control Unit system, with the new intent to explore the other Automotive industry drivers, I started working on the Powertrain system with one of the market leaders for the same - Valeo.Working on the way forward to making this journey fruitful, meaningful and eventful.
