   Work both independently and collaboratively within a large production team, handling full environment builds for individual shots as well as contributing specialized tasks within complex sequences. Create photorealistic CG environments and landscapes that blend seamlessly with live-action plate photography, ensuring continuity and visual coherence. Contribute across multiple disciplines, including modeling, texturing, shading, look development, basic hard surface animation, and self-compositing of shots when required. Maintain consistent artistic and technical standards while meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced studio pipeline. Need to create immersive digital worlds for films, virtual production. This role involves crafting everything from realistic natural landscapes to detailed sci-fi cities, providing the visual foundation that sets the tone for the entire scene. The core responsibility includes 3D modeling of environment assets such as terrain, rocks, foliage, architecture, props, and background elements. Whether stylized or photoreal, the goal is to build believable and engaging environments that support storytelling. Beyond modeling, we also need to handle UV unwrapping, texturing, and shading. Apply materials using tools like Substance Painter, Quixel, or custom shaders, ensuring that every surface behaves correctly under lighting and contributes to the visual of the scene. Scene assembly and set dressing. This involves populating environments with various elements in a way that feels natural and visually interesting. Composition, balance, and storytelling all come into play when dressing a digital set. Often work with modular asset workflows, reusing and assembling pieces to construct large scenes efficiently. A strong understanding of scale, proportion, and level of detail (LOD) ensures assets are both performance-friendly and visually impactful.
