NHIT (an Infra Investment Trust of NHAI) is India’s first government sponsored Infra Investment Trust and was set-up with the approval of the Union Cabinet in the year 2019 to monetize operating highway projects under Government of India’s National Monetization Pipeline. NHIT has successfully raised funds from marquee international and domestic institutional investors and lenders through placement of its units. In addition, NHIT has also successfully issued Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) for both retail and institutional investors. The units of NHIT are listed on BSE and NSE.The current Enterprise Value of the road assets being managed by NHIT is approx. Rs crore. NHIT has various legal entities under its structure viz. National Highways Infra Investment Managers Limited (Investment Manager Company) and three SPVs (NHIT Western Projects Private Limited, NHIT Eastern Projects Private Limited and NHIT Southern Projects Private Limited) which comprise of 28 road projects with 46 Toll Plazas across 12 states in India.Being the CHRO, responsible for managing the entire gamut of Human Resources and Administration function of all the entities under the structure of NHIT having direct and indirect headcount of approx. 4300.Reporting in to MD & CEO of NHIT.
