About Rajesh Bhargava

Why I do what I do? By profession, I am a trained Civil Engineer with an MBA degree and have built several projects in India and abroad. My journey to find what I love begun in 1970s but I realized it only in the 90s. Let me take you back in time. In 1977, my father died in a road accident, leaving a huge void. India\'s medical infrastructure was evolving back then, which often makes me think - had that accident taken place today we probably could have saved him. We came across a beautiful hotel property in it was the city\'s first centrally air-conditioned building of that time and we just knew it was the perfect fit for what I had in mind. My life’s mission now was- to not have the 1977 incident repeat itself in any other family. We went on a mission to bring together the best talent, facilities, services, infrastructure, machines and people; thus, creating a medical marvel. We feel we made history when we performed the first beating heart surgery & the first Heart Transplant of the state. Healthcare industry has provided enormous satisfaction to me. Being a healthcare entrepreneur, I shoulder the responsibility for healing my society and bringing in best healthcare to people. Working with the brightest minds gives me learning beyond my imagination. Doctors, Nurses, Cleaning Crew, Paramedicals and all other healthcare workers are the lifeline of a nation and we are honored to work alongside them. It is my privilege to work with Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeon, Neurologists, Neuro Surgeons, Gynaecologists, Laproscopic Surgeons, GI Specialists, Pulmonologists, Radiologists, Urologists and all others so closely. Just the thought of how many lives we save every day, still gives me goosebumps. Leadership in the healthcare environment is challenging. Despite our best efforts, we sometimes lose a patient. We become a big part of the fate of the family and believe me, it is appalling. God gives us all strength to face such situations and empathize with the loved ones.
