Joined as Executive Producer (employee #3) to set-up and lead the production team of CNN-IBNAssumed additional charge of leading IBN 7’s production team in 2007Set up the production team of IBN Lokmat and helped launch the channel in 2008Promoted to Chief Executive Producer for IBN Network in 2010In 2013, I led the creative team for IBN Network, which designed channel and show packaging besides on-air promotionsLed the on-air rebranding and repackaging for 16 News18 channels in 2016-17, including all IBN & ETV brands, to bring it under the umbrella branding of News18Designated as Chief Executive Producer for News18 Network, India’s largest news network in 2017Led the industry in 2019-20 by deploying augmented and virtual reality which received global recognition. From transporting the anchor into the studio in a quadcopter to creating a floating studio over the city of Delhi, they provided the viewers an immersive experience of news as it happened and has featured in international broadcast exhibitions.Set up and nurtured an in-house team with the capability to design and develop channel packaging for all our television news channels. News18 Network is the only news network to do so while other broadcasters outsource it. It gave a sense of fulfillment and purpose to the creative talent within the organization besides saving millions of dollars in the last decade
