ABOUT RAJENDRA NIRAULA

Rajendra Niraula has been involved in the international construction industry for over 25 years.Rajendra specializes in procurement, contract administration/management, contract negotiations, preparation and analysis of claims and defense, schedule preparation/analysis (Primavera/MSProject), delay analysis, contract interpretation, risk management, adjudication, arbitration and dispute avoidance. Additionally, through his civil engineering practice, advance degree in construction project management and additional law degree and adjudication/arbitration practice, he has in-depth knowledge of procurement, contract management, claims/dispute settlement, risk management in large infrastructure and mining project. His experience includes projects in the fields of mining, port, transport infrastructure, hydropower, irrigation system, river training, tunnel and water supply system. Rajendra’s global experience includes working in Canada, Cambodia, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Viet Nam. He is well practiced with FIDIC Red/Yellow/Silver/Pink book, ADB, World Bank, JICA, Nepalese and Canadian standard forms of contract. Rajendra is a FIDIC certified trainer, and has significant experience in training industry practitioners on procurement, contract management and claim/dispute settlement.Rajendra has experience working as Adjudicator, Arbitrator and Expert Witness for arbitration tribunal. He served as the Secretary General for Nepal Council of Arbitration (20••••13).
