   I am working in US GIDS (Global Investors & Distribution Solutions) Project. The Role of our DST as a Transfer Agent. Transfer Agent is that of a central record keeping and balancing point between the fund company and ultimatly the shareowner. We have multiple teams. I am specifically working under the control team. We are ensuring compliance, accuracy, and security in the transfer of securities and assets. We do various task such as DDA (Demand Depository Account) Reconciliation.Internal reconciliation – Operation Processed Transactions (Purchases, Redemptions, Dividend etc.)External reconciliation – Bank transactions (Money movement for Purchases, Redemptions, Dividend etc.)ER – Processing of Ucheck items to communicate to OperationResearch – Open item research through AWD to check if transaction processed correctly by operation.We are working on Shareholder’s investment checks that are rejected by their bank for various reasons (e.g. insufficient $(NSF), stop payment, uncollectible) are returned via the Federal Reserve to the bank of deposit. The bank of deposit pays (credits) the Feds and charges our DDA of deposit. Since this Bounce Check charge represents the cancellation of funding for an investment, immediate action is taken by our Control.Work on manual payment like ACH, Wire transfer, manual check.
