I am an experienced R&D Supervisor with a strong blend of technical proficiency and team leadership, specializing in 2D development, pipeline optimization, and workflow automation in the visual effects industry. With over 18 years of experience, I lead globally distributed teams across Montreal, Bangalore, and London, supporting compositing, roto, paint prep, camera tracking, and roto animation departments.My role spans both strategic oversight and hands-on development. I have played a key role in designing and building scalable 2D pipeline tools and an advanced review system for VFX shot evaluation. These systems have improved collaboration, streamlined artist workflows, and increased operational efficiency across departments.On the technical side, I remain actively involved in tool design, UI/UX improvements, and integration with DCCs like Nuke and Maya. I also manage ingest pipelines and client delivery workflows, ensuring smooth, consistent data handling throughout the VFX production process.From a managerial perspective, I oversee team structures, define development priorities, and foster a high-performance culture rooted in Agile and Scrum principles.
