My career evolved from Technical Support role. From there I have been the trusted adviser for fortune 100 companies and became the go to resource for technical escalations and infrastructure issues. Currently, as Technical Manager, I architect and implement technical infrastructures to ensure data protection, disaster recovery, and storage optimization.The role is a balancing act of managing technical processes and teams along with using my technical skills to provide the necessary environment for project success.• Architect backup designs based on internal customer requirements for integration and acquisitions• Evaluate and implement new Backup and Recovery storage hardware and software technologies• Drive long range road mapping and ensure consistency with business objectives for resiliency, disaster tolerance, and regulatory compliance• Work directly with the global Data Protection Lead and establish operating mechanism for weekly communication, strategy, and problem & resolution management.• Provide operational project level management in the planning, design, and implementation for hardware/software lease refreshes, migrations and new site acquisitions of data protection systems.• Lead Data Protection Capacity Planning and trending and implement plan to address capacity needs• Automating the delivery of backup solutions• Provide L4 support to L2 and L3 support teams• Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position• Proficiently handling teams, estimate project budgets, schedule project timelines, arrange for resources and also help in solving technical problems as and when needed• Bring in agility in your team functioning and provide for a transparent working environment, which will further strengthen your relation with team member• Effectively communicate with teams and clients.
