The company is engaged in Sugar Plants, Power & Steel Plants, Paper Plants, Distillery, Cement Plants, etc.• Purchase related all responsibility – New Vendor Development, Price Negotiation with vendor, PO releasing, Material Delivery and Payment etc.• Procurement of mechanical / electrical brought out items such as Pumps, Motors, ID Fan, Dampers etc, PLC, MCC Panels, C&I Items, Field instruments (Pressure gauges, Differential Pressure Transmitter (DPT), Pressure Transmitter (PT), Temperature Transmitter (TT), Resistance Temperature Device (RTD), Thermo Well Level Switch, Level Transmitter etc.) pertaining to P & ID. • Responsible for vendor development.• Negotiating with the vendors for material procurement while coordinating with the higher authorities of the company, ensuring statutory and company compliances.• Ensuring smooth co-ordination with indenting dept. and corresponding with Suppliers on scope of supply and specifications.• Challenged to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials as per specifications within the set quality and timely delivery of materials.• Ensure the quality & quantity of material purchase at site.• Techno commercial comparisons of vendors, price negotiation follow up.• Controlling of all Purchase Orders, indents, follow up, payment.
