Passionate about drawing insights and telling story from data.I am an applied data scientist with a strong foundation in EHR analytics, clinical outcomes research and predictive modeling with a broader passion for using data and education to drive impact in healthcare and beyond.At MedStar Health Research Institute, I lead advanced analytics for large-scale, multidisciplinary clinical and health services research projects. I work with complex healthcare datasets (Epic Clarity, Cerner Millennium, VA CDW) and apply advanced statistical modeling, machine learning and data visualization tools (R, Python, SQL, R Shiny, Tableau) to generate actionable insights that support patient care, health equity and operational decision-making. My contributions have resulted in seven peer-reviewed publications and several interactive tools that support both research and operational decisions.Beyond research, I have a strong interest in STEM education and communication. I previously served as a STEM instructor, mentoring high school students in Physics, programming and introductory machine learning, including coaching the international champions at the 2018 International Robotics Competition. I am also the author of Physics: Oscillation, Waves, Optics and Quantum Mechanics, published by Pearson Education, reflecting my ability to translate complex concepts into accessible knowledge.With this combination of technical depth, healthcare experience and a passion for teaching, I aim to bridge the gap between data, research and real-world impact.
