I invented the Au programming language at Aucoda Limited.Au saves money and time, empowers the employment of youth, and moves with the times. Au is a language for every situation — now, and in the future.Au is not ‘low code’ or ‘no code’, but a fully capable language in the traditional sense, allowing a developer to focus on the algorithm rather than the ‘Kung Fu’ of a particular development language. I invented and built the Au compiler, and steered the company through its research and development phase as CTO. As Au approached completion and release to the market, I have supported our bottom-up approach of bringing Au to the development community as Co-CEO. Aucoda Limited trains and helps young people to code in Au and start a career in software development. As computational thinkers Au developers are well equipped for a career in development— in Au or in any legacy language.Au is an example of Automatic Coding, but done correctly. Au takes every other programming language and uses it as its instruction set. The outputs in Au can be tailored to any language or specialised to customise to a client requirements using the companion language Autron (Automatic Transformation). Everything needed to become a programmer is taught through the Introduction to Programming with Au course: the course caters for all — graduates, undergraduates, or school age learners. Au runs in the browser and includes a fully capable IDE to run, debug, and edit code. Wherever code appears it can be run, debugged and changed — including from within the help pages in the interactive tutorials.
