Looking back, from the time I was introduced to dentistry to now, I have gone through different phases. Completing my dental education in India -> Laying down of a great foundation. Moving to a new country, learning culture, investing myself to be part of this community -> Personality development and exploring myself as a very friendly and social being. Working with different providers in different settings, from private to federal clinic, from a high-end practice to denti-cal taking community clinic-> Knowledge of the core of dentistry in the U.S and appreciation of diversity within this field. Finally, being part of UCSF Dentistry, privilege comes with the name itself, but what\'s more, is the introduction to a whole new sector-> Enhancing skills, the importance of research, and critical thinking while doing dentistry (a crucial part of getting advanced education). And this is just beginning, I am excited to explore what’s coming next to my way.
