I lead engineers by day and write code by night, keeping one foot in strategy and the other in the terminal. Hi, I’m an Engineering Manager who still thinks in pull-requests. Over the last 10 years I’ve steered SaaS teams through Data integration - designed and shipped dozens of plug-and-play connectors that teams actually want to use Platform services - rolled out RBAC and authentication systems so product teams can ship safely and fast SRE - turned outages into war stories and uptime into the default, backed by solid observability Developer kits - packaged shared Node.js and Python libraries that compress the gap between idea and production App standardisation - led a multi-tenant product toward an immutable coreWhat makes me a little different as an EM: I still write code regularly. Not to prove a point, because my plans need to be grounded in reality, not abstraction. I enjoy reading logs as much as I enjoy listening to people. And I keep documentation clear enough that a new hire can deploy on day one. My north star: platforms that are boring in production and exciting for the engineers building on them.
