Over the past 13 years, I have worked along the length and breadth of the energy industry incl. generation (renewables and conventional), storage, distribution, transmission, power trading, and policy and regulatory matters in the energy sector.In the present role I assist investors (PE and strategic) in identification and evaluation of investment opportunities in the energy sector which involves detailed market assessment, evaluating new and upcoming technologies, opportunity mapping, entry strategy, growth strategy (organic and inorganic), and transaction due diligence, power purchase cost optimization.I have assisted several clients in evaluating investments in upcoming themes such as green hydrogen, electric vehicles and charging infra, battery storage, domestic solar cell and module manufacturing, etc.I have advised the C-suite and investors on identification and mitigation of commercial risks, competitive bidding, raising capital through bonds, business development, etc.Experienced in interacting with the leadership teams of major private sector conglomerates, policy makers, regulators, and utilities.
