About Rajat Mehra
A seasoned professional with an overall work experience of 15+ years in the financial services industry. I have held various roles during my career working in KYC, AML, Credit Bust Out, Credit & Collections, Fraud Protection, project management, MIS & analytics, quality control, customer experience management and internal consulting. Key skills: Fraud risk management, AML/KYC, managing large teams (250+ FTE’s), setting up new engagements from scratch, client management, identifying future growth opportunities, grooming future talent, running world-class operations. I am currently working in JP Morgan Chase as an Operations Lead delivering KYC Solutions for US Wealth Management. Key responsibilities include: stakeholder management, people engagement and overall operations delivery for 100% periodic KYC renewals along with leading Intelligent Automation initiatives. I am also the Operations Lead for the business’ quality improvement initiative to leverage deep domain expertise to design quality improvement program with a multi-pronged strategy around people, process, system and policy. My previous experience was with Genpact where I led engagements for a European investment bank and a global payment services company. With a span ~150+ FTE’s my teams performed transaction monitoring, CIP, periodic KYC and fraud chargeback work. As a Delivery Lead I owned customer account management, P&L management, driving business growth and creating a strong AML/CTF footprint for Genpact in the Financial Crimes domain. Prior to this, I completed my MBA in Operations Management from IMI, New Delhi. Before pursuing my post-graduation I was working as a Lead Business Analyst with American Express. I acquired hands-on consulting, AML, CBO, quality control, project management, data analysis, leadership and training experience of 7 years. I started my career as an Engineer in the vendor development department of Multitex Filteration Engineers Limited- a New Delhi based manufacturing company.
