I am working as a Manager at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals where I am responsible for the purchase of packaging, plastic and chemicals which includes a spend of INR 240 Cr. I did Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Operations and Supply Chain Management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.Before PGDM, I have worked for 2 years with Reliance Industries Limited. For first year, I worked as a shift engineer where my job was to plan and schedule shift activities and to make sure that everything goes as planned. For the second year, I worked as a technologist where my job was to give technical support to the Glycol plants of RIL. During my stint at RIL, I worked on critical projects like evaluating the economic feasibility of catalyst worth INR 150 crore which resulted in a 2 % efficiency improvement.I have a special interest in social causes. During under graduation, I was felicitated by the alumni association of the college for actively participating in the social work. I am also a football enthusiast. I was captain of college football team and represented university football team twice at East Zone Inter University Football Tournament. I was felicitated by the college administration for my football credentials.

   Leading the supply planning and RM procurement functions for J&J, India wound closure business• Responsible for capacity and production planning for 500+ active FGs across 16 families, manufacturing more than 30 MM EA annually. Also, managing the planning and purchase of RM worth $18 MM, of which 74% is imported• Managing inventory at SKU level for 3500+ RM SKUs, interacting with 30+ suppliers to ensure uninterrupted service• Developing production plan with multiple scenarios integrated into PSI for effective decision making • Managed FG and RM to reduce the back order from $ 380K and keep it within $ 50 K for the last 6 months• Preparing long and short-term forecast and sharing it with the RM suppliers so that they can plan their capacity• Deriving the RM inventory entitlement at SKU level based on lead time, demand and supply uncertainty and keeping the total RM inventory and SLOB within aligned limits without any impact on service
