   Roles & Responsibility1. Category & Sales Performance Assist in tracking and analyzing sales performance, margins, and market share of dairy products. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales trends, promotions, and competitor activity. Support in achieving category targets (volume, value, profitability).2. Product & Assortment Management Work with Category Manager to define SKU assortment (milk, cheese, curd, butter, etc.). Identify gaps and opportunities in the portfolio (e.g, new variants, pack sizes). Ensure SKU rationalization – maintain the right balance of core and new products.3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination Support in managing relationships with dairy suppliers and brands. Assist in vendor negotiations for pricing, promotions, and terms of trade. Coordinate with suppliers for on-time product delivery and resolve operational issues.4. Promotions & Marketing Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns (discounts, in-store activations). Coordinate with marketing and merchandising teams for brand visibility. Track ROI of promotions and provide post-campaign analysis.5. Inventory & Supply Chain Monitor stock levels and replenishment cycles, especially for perishable items.
