About Rajat Das
As a proud father of an amazing teenager who often finds himself the target of my dad jokes, I\'ve always been fascinated by how things work. This led me to a career in engineering, where I had the privilege to serve as a lead engineer at Visa. However, my curiosity didn\'t stop there. I made a leap of faith and switched to Product Management, a decision I have never regretted. One thing led to another, and I found myself immersed in the fascinating world of AI, and more recently, GenAI. Today, I am the global product owner of one of Visa\'s pioneering real-time deep learning products. But my interests aren\'t confined to the tech world. I am an avid reader and have a deep passion for social work. I am a founding member of two philanthropic societies in Kolkata. One focuses on supporting underprivileged students, while the other is dedicated to helping visually impaired students. Additionally, I serve as a Board member and Treasurer for a non-profit organization based in the Bay Area. Despite my journey through different roles and industries, the engineer in me is still alive and kicking. I continue to approach every challenge with an engineer’s mindset - breaking down complex problems, thinking logically, and always looking for innovative solutions.Seeking a leadership position, to facilitate product development and business expansion in electronic payment industry, leveraging strong payment domain knowledge and deep understanding of Predictive and Generative AI, hands on people leadership experience, and product management proficiency in a multi-culture and multi-location environment.
