About Rajas Alshi
With 12+ years of experience in Transmission Line Design, I have acquired a deep understanding of the power transmission sector in both domestic and international divisions, ranging from 66 kV to 765 kV. My expertise lies in the structural design of lattice towers and foundations. I completed my Civil Engineering degree at the University of Mumbai in 2011 and started my career at Jyoti Structures Ltd as a Graduate Engineer Trainee, where I gained a strong foundation in transmission tower design. Afterwards, I joined the wonderful design department at Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) as a Senior Engineer, where I became well-versed in sag tension calculations, PLS Tower, iTower, load calculations, and different types of tower design for clients worldwide. In 2018, I took on the role of Manager-Design at KEC International and worked with diverse clients in the international division using PLS CADD and other tools to finish all design-related tasks within the given timeframes. Now, I am a Senior Structural Engineer at Shemar Power Engineering, working closely with clients to provide accurate and cost-effective design solutions to their unique problems.
