Technology, data, and operational excellence are reshaping the heavy equipment and trucking dealership industry. My work sits at the intersection of those three forces. I serve in a dual leadership role as Chief Information & Technology Officer and Dealer Family Continuous Improvement Coordinator for Tracey Road Equipment within Freightliner\'s Elite Support dealer network, where I focus on aligning technology strategy, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across dealership operations. At Tracey Road Equipment, I lead enterprise technology strategy supporting a multi-location heavy equipment and trucking dealership. My responsibilities include overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and data platforms that support truck and equipment sales, parts distribution, service operations, and finance. The goal is straightforward: ensure technology drives operational visibility, efficiency, and scalability while strengthening the customer experience. Beyond technology leadership, I lead Continuous Improvement initiatives across the dealer network, working with dealership leadership teams to implement Lean methodologies, strengthen operational standards, and drive measurable performance improvements. This includes advancing Elite Support initiatives, developing performance metrics for Fixed Operations, and coordinating improvement strategies across service, parts, and sales organizations. A significant part of my work centers around data-driven operational intelligence. By integrating business systems, analytics platforms, and operational KPIs, we provide leadership with clear insight into dealership performance and opportunities for improvement. Equally important is developing strong operational leadership across the organization. I work closely with Continuous Improvement Coordinators and dealership leaders to build consistent processes, mentor CI leaders, and ensure improvement initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes. The heavy equipment and trucking industry is evolving rapidly.
