A science student who gravitated towards literature moved to software programming and then instructional designing and finally to HR with focus on people development. The need to learn and discover new things is a driving factor. In over 18 years of professional experience in the corporate world, I have had opportunity to work with and for listed Fortune companies in varied areas, such as Finance, Education, Insurance, and Pharmaceuticals. I’m intrigued by human capital and the potential they bring to organizations. Why do people do, what they do? What drives them or pulls them back? What can organizations do to ensure they are able to leverage the full potential of all their employees and how can I assist the process that brings out the best in them, with respect to their subjective abilities? These are the questions that drive me to study and analyze the organization needs and create solutions that make a measurable impact. Having worked in business operations before moving to HR – I am mindful of creating solutions that will be implementable from a business standpoint and will bring the desired results. I have lived and worked mainly in India during my career, with short work assignments in the United States of America, China, and Ireland.
