In my role as the Head of Global Internal Audit for the Americas, I hold the responsibility of leading and overseeing the internal audit function across the Americas region, which encompasses North America and Latin America. My primary focus revolves around ensuring compliance and facilitating effective business execution. By providing independent assurance to executive leadership, I contribute to the mitigation of risks and evaluate the effectiveness of controls within the organization. Constantly engaging with various business units and operations, I assess risks and devise plans for conducting audit missions across all countries and processes within North America and South America. These audit missions span a wide range of areas, including but not limited to the control environment, finance and accounting, human resources, procurement, pricing and commercial efficiency, projects, as well as logistics and supply chain. Furthermore, I am also involved in conducting post-acquisition audits in the Americas, ensuring that all newly acquired entities adhere to the necessary controls and processes.
