About Rajah Sandor
I remember when I was in first grade I liked baseball but had no way of watching it, so my parents would print off the box scores for me using our home computer. I learned about the game through that data, and loved seeing the differences and changes. That has been a throughline for me, internalizing and making meaning of experiences through the data. Working on political campaigns was the most natural fit for my professional life because of the reliance on data. Consistently interacting with the data allowed me to tap into this skill I’d been honing since primary school. I was not just focused on reaching out to volunteers, but looking at what they were producing, making sure we were talking to the exact right people at the exact right time, maximizing their time, and using data to drive results. That’s how I came to be working on data and moving up into management in campaigns, but I’ve always brought it back to that - tracking changes, using data to drive decisions, and constantly improving. I have developed a professional passion for not just collecting and analyzing data, but for making data accessible to everyone and sharing best practices with people of all skill levels. My ideal workplace uses my analysis to drive results that make a real difference in the lives of regular people.
