As a data-driven professional with a strong academic foundation in Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Economics from Millsaps College and currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Cornell University, I am passionate about leveraging analytics to drive smarter, more strategic financial decisions.My career interests lie at the intersection of finance, data, and strategy, with a long-term goal of working in asset management. I am especially interested in applying analytical frameworks to evaluate investments, optimize portfolios, and guide long-term capital allocation.During my time at HORNE, I worked as a Data Visualization Specialist supporting federal grant programs. I developed robust dashboards and automated reporting pipelines using Power BI, Tableau, Python, and SQL. I played a key role in migrating existing Tableau reports to Power BI, streamlining operations, and enhancing reporting accuracy and turnaround. This experience sharpened my technical skills and reinforced the importance of translating raw data into actionable insights.Outside of work, I’ve led research projects, built business strategies for real-world ventures, and participated in national-level finance competitions. I’ve also worked closely with industry professionals and faculty mentors, especially during my time at ELSEWORKS and through student-managed fund initiatives.With each opportunity, I strive to combine a quantitative mindset, a collaborative approach, and a global perspective—skills I hope to carry into the financial sector. As I continue my journey at Cornell, I am actively looking to connect with like-minded professionals in finance, asset management, and investment strategy to grow, learn, and contribute meaningfully.
