Electrical Controls Engineer @Teichert

Maintain and enhance control hardware and software. • Design and develop electrical schematics and equipment controls software applications. • Ensure that project design and implementation contribute to Teichert’s commitment to a Zero Injury culture. • Communicate with all levels of site personnel to ensure understanding of changes to the control systems. • Work collaboratively with plant electricians and electrical contractors. • Provide specialist knowledge and electrical cost estimates for plant capital projects and assist with replacement of legacy control systems when required. • Evaluate changes/upgrades to plant control systems and make recommendations for continuous improvement. • Create and share best practice amongst the engineering team and plant personnel to ensure that learning and improvements are widespread. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to plant’s as needed. • Identify opportunities to improve overall operating efficiencies. • Improve data collection and assist with efforts to utilize data to improve performance. • Lead problem solving teams to identify root cause of issues or equipment failure to drive continuous improvement. • Travel to various sites within Northern California and Northern Nevada
