Two layoffs in three years finally pushed me to make a radical change in my career.Having been raised by parents who always put their family first, I never imagined that I would end up a job that didn’t allow me to spend time with my family. As a computer expert, I found myself handcuffed to my computer working 13-14 hours a day 6-7 days a week. Even the short spurts of time I did spend with my wife and kids, I was mentally unavailable because I was thinking about work-related planning and activities. My parents live in India, and they needed my care, and it broke my heart that I couldn\'t afford to take time off from work to go and be with them. After experiencing two layoffs within three years, I had a realization that as long as I continued working for other people, I would have no control over my financial future. I started looking for a way to earn a living that would allow me to take control over the money I made and afford me the time freedom to fully prioritize my family. After several unsuccessful attempts, I started to wonder if I was searching for something that just didn\'t exist. Just when I was ready to throw in the towel, I came across an opportunity that sounded perfect. It gave me the ability to be fully in control of my finances, as well as make my own schedule and work from anywhere in the world. Although I was skeptical, I was so desperate that I decided to give it a shot. I am so thankful that I did. In just 2.5 years’ time, by leveraging this powerful opportunity, I was able to make a professional income and became a full-time entrepreneur, and the best part is the fact that I was able to help 16 other people to achieve the same results! Today I no longer have a boss to answer to and can travel to see my parents whenever I feel like it.
