Principal Scientist at Adobe and Chief Architect for the Administration platform, part of Adobe’s Unified Platform, with 18+ years of experience designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems.My work focuses on architectural leadership for backend and cloud-native platforms, building systems that meet demanding requirements for scalability, low latency, and five-nines availability.As Chief Architect for the Administration group, I drive the technical vision and architecture for platforms that power enterprise customer administration, organization management, and large-scale multi-tenant infrastructure across Adobe services. I also lead a team of architects responsible for the design and evolution of the platform.Most recently, I led the architecture of Adobe’s fine-grained authorization platform, building a Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) system from the ground up. The platform leverages OpenFGA with a custom platform layer and DynamoDB-backed storage architecture, designed for low-latency permission evaluation and five-nines availability across enterprise workloads.My work involves collaborating closely with architects, engineering leaders, and product management leadership to align architectural decisions with product strategy and prioritize business-critical capabilities.Earlier in my career, I led development across mobile, 3D, and game platforms, building systems using Cocos2d-x and OpenGL.
