About Raj Jain

Raj is an engineering leader who is currently building a security product used across Amazon\'s e-commerce and AWS infrastructure. Raj has one patent pending with Amazon for creating a novel method for infrastructure security.Before joining Amazon, Raj held the position of Chief Security Architect at Protegrity. In this role, he was instrumental in transitioning the company\'s on-premise data protection technology into a multi-tenant SaaS solution hosted on AWS. Additionally, he created a cloud security broker that protected customers\' sensitive data before it entered third-party SaaS applications. Raj\'s innovative work at Protegrity has resulted in three U.S. patents.Throughout his career, Raj has demonstrated his expertise as an engineering leader, hands-on practitioner, innovator, and thought leader. He has created industry standards, holds a substantial number of patent grants, and has authored both AWS security blog posts and Bell Labs Technical Journal papers.
