ABOUT RAIZA VASQUEZ
I’m someone who can turn a party into a lecture, as soon as the conversation is about fashion and textile. But not the monologue kind of lecture, rather one that challenges the group into a discussion about the power of individual consumption choices and how it can empower the supply chain that clothe us to change.Always driven by curiousity and sharing collective knowledge, this is something I apply not only in my daily life, but also in the workplace. Whether I am speaking to an individual about their personal choices, or guiding brands or suppliers through resources that will support their strategies, my goal remains the same: leverage curiousity, engagement and knowledge sharing to unlock the opportunity for change towards sustainability and positive impact. On the other side, my alter ego loves to organize spreadsheets or big ideas into digestible to-do’s. I get excited about collecting, organizing and presenting data to inform strategies. I find it oddly satisfying to couple quantitative and qualitative data in making a case for change. This is when my marketing experience comes out to play!Outside sustainability, I always look forward to an insightful conversation over decaf coffee (despite having been a barista for 4 years- I know, the irony!), or a slow run. If you\'re in Berlin, let\'s meet at our halfway Kiez. If you\'re elsewhere, let\'s connect virtually or since I love to travel, maybe I\'ll meet you in your city!
