ABOUT RAINER TUMP

Rainer Tump has more than 20 years experience in international cooperation, development and humanitarian aid. His major fields are rural development, strengthening of NGOs and CBOs, project management, food security and land rights. As consultant, team leader or project manager he worked for a number of German and international implementing agencies in Africa, Asia and Latin America, including the European Commission, BMZ, KfW, GIZ, Bread-for-the-World; Misereor, German Agro Action, terre des hommes, Austrian Development Agency and Christian Aid. His work includes feasibility studies, participatory planning; design and introduction of adopted monitoring systems, training, socio-economic studies and complex evaluations. He obtained a master\'s degree in Sociology at the University of Bielefeld, Germany with specialization on International Development. Mr. Tump has joined AGEG Consultants in He is member of AGEG Consultants Directorate since 2011. Since 2013 he is Team Leader of the Community Development component of the Integrateted Sanitation and Sewerage Project (ISSIP) in Egypt, co-financed by the World Bank and the Japanese Social Development Fund.
